I’m Stephie — an event-obsessed creative who loves any excuse to celebrate, proud wife & mum of two, and the heart behind Balloon & Bloom. After a decade in compliance and financial crime, I realised my true passion lay elsewhere — in creativity, and designing spaces that feel alive with personality.
It all started with my own wedding in 2018, where I fell in love with decorating every corner. In 2019, I began making seasonal faux floral wreaths for fun, and by 2020, Balloon & Bloom had grown into a full-fledged event décor business. Since then, my style and skills have evolved dramatically — I’ve learned how to bring every vision to life with layers of detail, texture, and thoughtful touches that every design unique.
My signature approach combines elegance, creativity, and a playful flair, with a focus on the little things — the textures, the subtle details, the finishing touches that really make an event unforgettable. I’ve always been the person who finds any excuse to throw a party or jazz up a space, so running this business continues to be the perfect fit.
When I’m not designing magical events, you’ll find me with family and friends or cheering loud and proud for the Cobras Basketball Club — a team we’re thrilled to sponsor.
How It Works
Discuss
First, we’ll discuss the type of balloons, theme, and colour scheme you have in mind for your event. You’re welcome to check out our price guide above for a better idea of what works for you.
Knowing your ideal budget is really helpful, as it helps me determine the size and detail of the display you’re after. Every design is unique and has its own price point, so having this starting point allows me to provide an estimated quote.
This step helps set the foundation for your perfect display!
Design
Next, If you feel I am the right person for your event, I kindly ask for a £50-£70 non-refundable deposit for large displays or £15-£20 non-refundable deposit for smaller bookings to secure your date/order.
Once that’s sorted, I’ll suggest balloon types, foils, or florals that match your theme and vision.
I’ll also create a concept design, so you can see how it will all come together and make any tweaks before we bring it to life!
We will be able to finalise your quote at this point.
Display
Finally, for large displays, the remaining balance will be due two weeks before your event or when the final design has been agreed.
After that, I’ll handle the setup and takedown at the venue, so there’s nothing for you to worry about.
For smaller balloon bookings, you can choose to collect them or have them delivered/setup, depending on their size.
It’s that easy – completely stress-free! From start to finish, I take care of every detail to make sure everything is perfect for your event.
